An invoice is a bill for services rendered or goods sold.
Upon receiving my order, I was dismayed to find that not only had the wrong goods been delivered but also that no invoice had been included.
An invoice usually contains (or, depending on jurisdiction, must contain) the supplier’s identification and banking information, the recipient’s identification, invoice date and number, payment terms, amount of tax, goods delivery date or date of provision of service, and total amount due. The seller considers the invoice to be a sales invoice and the pertinent amount to be an account receivable, whereas the buyer considers it to be a purchase invoice and the amount to be an account payable. A pro-forma invoice is a special type of invoice used only for declaratory purposes (for example, for customs duty) and usually does not represent an amount receivable or payable.
Faktura je účet za poskytnuté služby nebo prodané zboží.
Po přijetí objednávky mne zklamalo, když jsem zjistil, že jsem nejenom dostal jiné zboží, ale že také nebyla přiložena faktura.
Faktura obvykle obsahuje (nebo v závislosti na jurisdikci musí obsahovat) identifikační údaje prodejce, jeho bankovní informace, identifikační údaje příjemce, datum a číslo faktury, platební podmínky, výši daně, datum dodání zboží nebo poskytnutí služby, a celkovou splatnou částku. Prodejce považuje fakturu za prodejní fakturu a částku za pohledávku, zatímco kupující ji požaduje za kupní fakturu a částku za závazek. Pro-forma faktura je speciální typ faktury používaný pouze pro deklaratorní účely (například pro celní povinnost) a obvykle nepředstavuje pohledávku ani splatnou částku.
