Front office is the part of a company that directly communicates with its clients.
The new manager quickly identified that the problem with GreenCo’s customer retention is due not to product quality but rather to poorly designed front office processes.
As this is not a precisely defined term, its meaning in various sectors and in various companies may differ. The term may also refer to a specific location (such as a reception in a hotel) and/or to the jobs and employees who are expected regularly to come into contact with clients. It broadly encompasses such functions as marketing, sales, and customer support. Front office can be contrasted with back office (the administration of a company, such as accounting and management) and the middle office (direct support of the front office, such as risk management, compliance, and research and development (R&D)).
řízení rizik, oddělení compliance, a věda a výzkum (VaV)).
